We had a personality clash between 2 new scouts which was mostly resolved by the end of the week. The was a tornado warning issued where the troop ended up in a muddy ravine. The week ended up with Operation Jumbo Drench. Fire ashes were added to a different group of ashes which had their origins with Baden Powell and the original beach where the first Boy Scout Camp exists |

| May 22, 2004 | Troop 7 | Germantown Reserve - Shrimps Hollow Camp site | The great Cicada campout. The 17 year cicadas came out in force to join us this weekend. Exoskeletons were everywhere and the hike was interesting when we scared a swarm of then into "attacking"us. Also on the hike, we were tracking a "deer" on the trail until we finally caught up with it. Seems the "deer" have undergone a transformation into an Black Angus Bull. Luckily no horns and we managed to escape with our lives. The scouts had their Saturday dinner hidden in the deep woods with only compasses to guide them to their next meal. Scouts almost had camp broke down before the Scoutmaster got out of bed. |
| June 26, 2004 | Troop 7 | Old Camp Hook | Return to camp Hook after a year. Weather was spectacular this year. The scouts went on a 5 mile hike to a secluded lake. The troop enjoyed the addition of a new scout. This also marked the last campout for one of the last two original Troop 7 scouts. Ashes presented to the fire by both the new and leaving scouts. |
